| Classes for all the family at Gransha Silver Jubilee Show.
The Silver Jubilee Show at Gransha Equestrian Centre was a great success last Saturday. All 43 classes ran smoothly and were expertly judged by our pre booked Judges Chris Eakin, Julie Bleakley, Kerry Gilmore, Kirsty Stuart, Liz Patterson, Anne Rogers, Courtney Stuart and Mark Robinson. When classes ran over their expected time and Judges were tied up we were very lucky to have as spectators Maureen Lowry, Angels Fynn and Megan Hamill, all experienced riders and judges who very willingly stepped in at the last minute which enabled the classes to keep flowing with no delays. To all judges we say a big thank you for your time and expertise. We had most of the sponsors available on the day to present their prizes in various classes and we thank them for their generosity.
As always the Family Pony Ring was the most popular and it was wonderful to see so many young riders starting out on their tiny ponies and parents making great efforts towards the fancy dress competition. The proceeds from this ring will go the Marie Curie Cancer Care.
This event would not run so smoothly without the support of numerous helpers, so if you were there and contributed in any way congratulate yourself on helping to maintain one of the few surviving family fun events on the equestrian calendar.
