Northern
Irish Festival Working Hunter Qualifier Horses
31st March
The Northern
Ireland Festival working hunter qualifying competitions at Gransha
Equestrian Centre in Bangor last Saturday drew great crowds of competitors.
Possibly because a few riders only now have their young horses ready
to compete or perhaps because it was such a glorious spring day
and the classes were held outside. Whatever the reason, the judge
Jill McAllister was very greatfull to Karon Chambers for stepping
in to judge the second phase of the Workers in order to speed the
day up, and with the help of Violet Jackson manning the gate and
keeping the competitors flowing we managed finish well before dark.
