RIDERS WORKING HUNTER LEAGUE DRAWS TO AN EXCITING FINAL!!

The last qualifier of the Riders Working Hunter League took place last Sunday at Lusks Equestrian Centre. Throughout the classes there was an excellent turnout of top quality horses and very polished and professional riders.

This new league has without a doubt been a great success and the organisers would like to thank Anne Minnis and Shirley Anderson for talking them into running it. A big thanks also goes to the sponsor, Baileys Feeds, who have given feed vouchers to every winner throughout the eight qualifying shows.

A list of the riders who have competed in 5 of the 8 qualifiers and who are eligible for the League prizes is available on www.granshaequestrian.co.uk. When you get a chance to study it you will see that some of the marks are very close and the competition is still very open, especially when the points for the final are multiplied by 1.5!

The Grand Final is on Sunday 8th March starting at 11.00am at Gransha Equestrian Centre.
There will be the same classes as at the qualifying shows and everyone whether you are eligible for league prizes or not is welcome to take part in the competitions. There will be prizes presented to the winners of the classes on the day and separate prizes to the winners of the league – not forgetting the Grand Championship - with £150 for Champion and £50 for the Reserve.
